Got back late last night from a very enjoyable 3 days at the Nurburgring in Germany after being invited to help cover the FIA Historic Formula One meeting being held there. From landing in Frankfurt Friday to leaving Sunday evening it was wall to wall sunshine, some very close racing from the F1 cars, which in their day gave better racing than anything on offer today.
Some very quick edits...
start of Sunday warm up time
you still get the first corner mayhem
a few action shots from over the weekend
and they still have accidents...
all told a great weekend.
FIA Historic F1 - Nurburgring
Re: FIA Historic F1 - Nurburgring
excellent, I love the nostalgia of seeing the old F1 cars, brings my childhood flooding back, my favourite to watch on telly in the 70's was Mario Andretti driving the black JPS Lotus, fantastic stuff
