The days are getting shorter as winter approaches,still a few summer visitors still around as we await the influx of winter visitors.

First sighting of the Merlin this autumn

Short eared owls have been reported on Sheppey,so hopefully not long before we see them at Elmley

Great post Colin. Like the Little Owl flight shot pity its a cluttered background but i know how hard it is to get them in flight tried many times on Lesvos where they are common and not always that bothered by man.
Must try to get up again for a couple of visits this winter.
