Stanborough Lakes & Wilstone Reservoir

Managed a couple of hours at Stanborough Lakes yesterday morning whilst the better half was having her hair done. Then went over to Wilstone Reservoir near Tring for a few hours, a most pleasant Saturday for sure.

And before anyone gets all offended with the nesting Grebe shot, I took this from a foot path that leads around the lake and was well away from the nest so as not to disturb the birds :-

Stanborough is a short walk from where I live, so I walk the dogs regularly there, some nice captures!

Cheers, yes, was quite busy for dog walkers, and joggers too. Remarkable the amount of differing wildlife there, will try to go more often as it is just 30 mins down the road for me.
