My Moggies

Post by Pringles »

On Easter Sunday of this year, I said goodbye to a beloved friend and family member, when my 18 year old cat sadly passed away. We realised that our family had a gaping hole needed filling, and so adopted a mother-daughter pair from the Blue Cross. These photos are a few weeks old, and Maggie (the young kitten) has nearly doubled in size since my most recent photo - must break out the camera again next time they're outside!

This first set is from the day that they first arrived at our house:

The following few are from a few weeks later, when we took the pair outside on leads and harnesses for the first time:

Lovely.

Got two rescue cats, they came from the home of an old lady who died with them locked indoors.

Had them for 5 years now, they were both adults when they arrived.

They really are a joy, we selfishly get the fun of having them around but at least with rescues, you know they're having a much better life than they would have alone on the streets.

The mother was only 18 months when we adopted her and the vets reckon Maggie was from possibly her third litter! Needless to say we've made sure she can't have any more... :hide:
