Our trip to the USA and Florida in particular fortunately coincided with a couple of launches from the Kennedy Space Center.

On Monday 14th August we drove to Titusville, to the Spaceview Park, to see the launch of Space X Falcon 9 ISS re-supply mission. A few minutes later the Falcon 9 first stage landed back accompanied by a loud sonic boom.

These are pretty severe crops as we were 11miles away. Still loud though.

On Friday 18th August I watched a launch at 8.30am of an Atlas V. This was viewed from our rented villa in Kissimmee, nearly 60 miles away from the launch site.

Didn't catch a launch on my visit, but Kennedy is one place everyone with an interest in aviation needs to visit at least once.

A great experience, well done getting the pics.

Having been to Kennedy, as said, a very interesting experience, and luckily, I caught a launch of a craft I'd seen on the launch pad there, from Orlando.
