Thunder and the Lightning

Post by RichPittman »

Amazed to see no Lightning photos from the recent storms on here.
I took these in Yeovil around midnight on Saturday Evening.
All good fun.
I think this storm was 30-40 miles away.

Always great to see a cloud lit up from inside, well done!

I love these.
I got home at 12:15 and the storm had just started, really wanted to get my camera out but I was far too tired to set it all up. One day I'll get lightning photos

Amazing pictures!

How did you do this? Presumably long exposures?

Your photos of the lightning are impressive Rich, but I don't like your images of the thunder.

I slept through it all and hardly noticed.

Nicely caught, well done. I live 30 or so miles to the south of Yobville, and we didn't have any storms this way

Many thanks for sharing.
