Lightning

Post by Ian G »

Following on from Rich's post, I thought I'd share a couple of captures that I took on Saturday night/Sunday morning. The weather in Wolverhampton was particularly bad on Sunday, I was expecting the thunder and once the flashes appeared through the curtains, I was up the window with my camera! Out of about 400 frames taken on the night and Sunday afternoon, I got two with bolts of lightning in front of me. I also had my phone on and managed to get this shot on slow-mo mode which was very kindly featured on Central News later in the week. I was hoping for more tonight but so far we appear to have missed most of the thunderstorms that have been forecast
