So instead of upgrading to a Panasonic G9 I decided to go and pick up a second hand Nikon D7200 and Tamron 18-400 lens. I went for the 18-400 lens to try and keep he weight down. As it came on Friday I was desperate to go and test in out, the plan was to go and photograph The Flying Scotsman on Saturday but the rain killed that idea. So it was off to one of the local parks on Sunday morning, weather was still miserable but at least it wasn't raining. Trying out back button focus for the first time might not of been the best idea but why not jump in at the deep end and get use to it all at once.
Anyway here's a few examples of what I took and comments would be most welcome about both the lens and any lightroom processing that anyone can notice wrong.
