Motorsport - Loton Park Hill Climb, Easter Monday

Postby DanO1978 on Mon 13 Apr 2009, 7:46 pm

Cracking day's motorsport today at Loton Park. I'd never been to a hillclimb before, and was at a loose end, so decided to see what it was like.

Thoroughly recommended - superb for photography!

Nicely done. Really like that angled shot of the Pug 205 and the Porsche locked up is also nice.

Agreed, it looks like the Pug is falling over due to the angle of your dangle

Nice pics Dan, try and get to the Prescott hill climb near Cheltenham. It is the one that was on Top Gear when the stig beat the chavs in a frogeye sprite. thoroughly recommend it.

Good pictures, guess some of the pictures were taken as the cars were going back downhill after their runs, giveaway, drivers not wearing gloves, I do hillclimbing & sprinting & it's only allowed on the hills to run without gloves etc on the return to the paddock, still a good selection though, Loton Park is a hill that you have time to get a rythym going, not like Prescott/Gurston/Shelsley were it is a manic 45 second dash, Paul H.
Oh joy, retired at last.
