Thought id make use of the nice day and join my Dad to see a steam special on the London to Exeter line.
First time ever he has seen this engine...

Nice Rich,

Not one I've seen yet, but having caught another a few months back, I'm certainly going to try for more.

There's certainly something about them, the noise, smell and thunder, and you only seem to get one chance taking pictures, unlike aircraft at an airshow.

Like buses, I've not seen any pics of Oliver Cromwell doing mainline tours yet, and find two posts in the same evening. Very nice they are too, you've got a great vantage point!
