Post by IanOlder »

Had this rejected for "dark" , well no sh** , it's in a shelter. Worth appealing?

It might get accepted if it had a boat as the subject, like in the other thread
I can't see a lot wrong with it, considering the shelter blocks the light.

That link doesn't seem to be working? As far as appealing is concerned, I've tried it 2 or 3 times without success. Won't be tryng it again.

To be honest rejection reasons such as "dark" etc are rubbish as it could have been cloudy on the day the image was captured or as you say in your situation taken in a darker location/situation!

To bring the light right up on such a picture would make it look so fake and artifical thats its just wrong.
3 Months to go, hopefully he says.

I think when you appeal it must remove the photo while it's being re-screened.
Anyway, surprisingly the appeal worked, it made it afterall http://www.airliners.net/photo/UK---Air/Panavia-Tornado-GR4/1408289/M/
