Photoshop vs Canon software

I was just wondering which software people prefer for photo editing. There seems to be a lot of mention of Photoshop on here so I'm guessing it's pretty popular. How does the Canon software (I've got what came with the 40D) compare? I'm vaguely familiar with Photoshop having used it for a while, so I'm wondering if it is worth trying to learn to use the Canon one or not? Any comments?

Photoshop every time! Also useful as nearly everyone on here uses it, so if you have a query the chances are you will get an answer.
