going there in order to shoot nice pics....been several times to the air tatoo with my d3s and 70-200 2.8 +tc1.7 and 2 !!!/

considering my 200-400 this time but afraid it aill be a bit heavy(no grand stand)///

any one can pls describe photograpy conditin there?

bring your 200-400, you'll need it if you want good photos of the demo's
i used a D300 with TC1.7 and 200-400mm for most of the day

Thanks for the comment....can I have some information about photograpy condition there? how close where you to the runway? Is it crowded?

side-ons on the runway are about 250-300mm for Flankers and MiG-29's.

There is a 2m high fence all along the runway.
I stood well back from the fence to get flying shots and only took a few through the fence.

Expect it to be horribly busy, I believe there was a 250.000+ crowd at last years' MAKS.
