Sony Alpha A77 Mark II

Post by Flannerz »

Hi guys

I currently own a Sony A58 and have a couple of A mount lenses. I'm looking to upgrade for the new season and am considering going for the Sony Alpha A77 Mark II. Does this seem like a sensible upgrade? Any users of this body out there care to share an opinion? I would also be open to alternatives from other brands if anyone has any recommendations. I have a budget of about £1500 but I was looking at getting this body and then a decent lens with the remaining funds.

As always, any help would be appreciated!

I use the A58 for statics and the A77II for flying shots. A very, very good camera and even better once you get the 4D focus function set up. See below

there are loads of people who have this body and can give the advice you would like.

You could get the body and Tamron 150-600 for Around your budget

Congrats on the new body :) Was going to suggest looking at the new A68 as it seems to have a lot of the guts of the A77 II in a lighter, cheaper body but no need now.

looking forward to your opinion on this one, want one as a replacement for the A700 as my main body, the A700 will then be my backup
