Assuming any lenses allow full operation:
what AF area selection mode do you use for airshows?
and what AI Servo characteristics or tracking do you use

Hi
When I use my 7D Mk II at an air show, I use the AF area selection mode where you have the 8 pt expanded or the "Zone AF" mode when photographing a single aircraft or helicopter. When photographing multiple aircraft or helicopters I use the "Auto AF" mode, where all AF points are active.
As force AF tracking I use AI Servo and "Case 2".

I have a very similar setup - only difference** is that I tend to use the 'middle 1/3' for single aircraft.... rest exactly the same.

John a big thank you for your advice on here. I am finding that my pics are a lot better.
