Nikon 5300 vs 7100

Both similar price and stats. Any suggestions or experience to tip me off my fence? Airshows and lurking. Currently with a Tamron 70-300, soon to get a Sigma 500

Unless you've found a too-good-to-be-true deal for the D7100, you should be looking at a £200 or so price difference between the two.

I'd go for a D7100 (indeed, I did!) over a D5300. And look at the D7200 if you can.
