Re: Bigger Images?

Post by Bill16STN »

I would love to be able just to post any image on here!?!

Perhaps someone could suggest what I'm doing wrong (I don't seem to have any problems posting on other Fora)

Below is a photograph taken at Old Warden it measures 800x600 (landscape) x236KB - oh & for those of you who can't see it; it's the OW SE5a ....

EDIT: Ian(elderforest) : The pic wouldn't show because the disable BBCode box was ticked under 'options' at the bottom of the page. All fixed now ... and welcome to UKAR !

You have ticked "Disable BB Code" from the posting options (underneath the area where you type your posts). Untick that box.

Where on p'bucket do I go to meddle with the upload options? I've tried following their FAQs in "Help" but couldn't find what they were talking about. (An idiots guide is about my standard

Help please!!

Underneath the big blue upload button, it says "Use CTRL to select multiple files (more options)"

Click "more options", and change the settings to allow 1024px images.

Thanks Dan. I followed and understood (!) your instructions, but didn't make any difference when I uploaded an image at the end of this thread?

Try selecting the 1MB option and try again.

Try re-naming the file to something different and upload it again - I had this problem the other night with photobucket when I was testing the new settings.

Just posted a new thread http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=17296 and it now seems to work!

Thanks for your help anyway Dan.
