International Fighters Issue

Post by Ledhead27 »

Hi everyone,

I seem to be having some difficulties with installing the International Fighters add-on in FSX or FS2004. The installation routine seems fine but when I go on the simulator no aircraft are there :dunno: can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

when you installing your aircraft you need to makesure they are placed in:

OS (C)/Program Files(x86)/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes/

if u using an automated installer then that it should be looking at:

OS (C)/Program Files(x86)/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/

hope this helps

if the auto installer is for fs2004, it'll create an 'aircraft' directory in the fsx root folder, you'll have to manually move the aircraft folders into the simobjects/ airplanes directory

if the aircraft is for 2004 and u trying to fly it on FSX make sure u choose to download it in to a new folder on your desktop. them manually move them to :

OS (C)/Program Files(x86)/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/SimObect/Airplanes (if u installing helicopters then place them in the SimObject/Rotorcraft)

u will also need to manually copy the the contents of Gauges and Effects folders in to:

OS (C)/Program Files(x86)/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Effects

OS (C)/Program Files(x86)/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Gauges

you may need to try and find FSX updates if u trying to use FS2004 as some early aircraft don't work in FSX mainly Gauges but sometime with textures issues.

I hope this makes sense.

Feel free to PM if u need further assisants
