Everytime there's a new BMS version released Im thinking that now's the time to get into Falcon, and that feeling lasts until I get into the UI and start setting up my controls...

Sam here, I gave it a go a while ago but there's such a learning curve. Very much NOT plug-and-play! There's a guide on reddit somewhere which might be helpful though. People do seem to have a good time in BMS.

It's not the flying, it's the setting up. Might have to give it a go now though as it does look rather good. Note that all of the new aircraft use the F-16 avionics so aren't totally true to life.

I see, i just use the keyboard short cuts, and then my stick and throttle have mapped the basics i need for flying, if you have a combo with more mapping available (hotas cougar, warthog etc) profiles are avaible to download from the forum from others to see if theres one that suits?

You do get a very good tutorial in the Docs folder that explains what should be set up in regards to simmulatio, graphics, sound, etc, etc...

Yeah, flying Hornets, Viggens and MiGs with F-16 avionics doesn't really do it for me - but the simulation of the F-16 is still very interesting :)

Agreed, the only one I'd consider would be the Harrier, only because it's the Harrier.

Still waiting for the Leatherneck Viggen to be announced...
