1:48 Harrier Gr7

Post by MerlinJon »

Hi

Here is my latest build, a Revell BAe Harrier GR7. The kit was a pleasure to build very straight forward, I built this one OOB.

Not sure about the weathering, I think it might be a little heavy?

Nice! Panel lines are a little overdone for my tastes, but that is a very subjective area. Still looks cracking though, and you have every reason to be delighted with it! That base looks awesome too...

Very nice, always have loved the Snow camo Harrier! Do you have any shots of WIP?

Looks lovely, you've achieved a very nice soft demarcation line between the white and grey

Weathering looks good to me, these aircraft got pretty filthy pretty quickly in Norway

I'd certainly like to see more shots of it

The finish looks superb, I always like the snow scheme on the jet :yahoo:

But, there's is a little mistake with the kit

When the canopy is open there is a retactable step that slides down out of the fuselage between the starboard intake and undercarriage door has part of the inbuild ladder/step entry system.

Hope that you don't mind.

Thanks for the comments guys, I have done a little more to the Harrier by adding the intakes blanks and RBF's. I have also added the crew entry step, thanks for pointing that out Tiger Tim.

I will post some more pics as soon as I get time to take some.

Here you go some more pics of the finished model.
