Cracking job Paul, love the wear and tear and also the weathering. Tell me is this a new molding or is it the dreaded old Airfix Jag (which i tried and hated) which was a terrible fit? again mate wonderful job

Nice work on the old airfix kit.

The weathering does seem a little too heavy in places but overall it looks great

What is next on the table?

Hi All many thanks for your nice comments, James with regards to weathering is it the picture of the tail your talking about? if so those dark blobs is infact shadows from somewhere and not on the model. Jaguars were really dirty aircraft esp on the underside and in the wheel wells etc.
I still have a couple of more Jaguars to build so I will be doing them up in 41 & 54 Sqn anniversary markings, I still have many more models to build so not too sure yet which one will be next on my production line lol.

Regards.

I'm wondering if James was referring to the grey around the panels under the canopy?

It looks like you might see where a paste has been applied to the real aircraft. As I know sod all aboutbsuch things, is this themlook you were after?

As James said though, it's still a great build and certainly beter than what I can produe in this scale which I really seem to struggle with.

Well done sir.

Paul.

I was on about the front panels. I do like the weathering on the wings too.

I do have to say hats off to you, sir, the Airfix jag is a hard kit to get right IMO and this is a great example.

Cracking finish as normal Paul looks a nice build and i really like this and look forward to the 41 & 54 Squadron machines .
You know my views on weathering but this does look slightly overdone in places. Perhaps the lighting in the photos don't do the finished kit justice. And just one little pointer personally i think there is to much clutter in the back round.
Look forward to seeing the Harrier GR7.

It's a smart looking model, but you've forgot the Dark Sea Grey upper surfaces...

Hi Paul,
Yet another fine build, if you carry on like this you're gonna run out of room to keep them all.
Stiill could always us ex super prats bedroom LOL.
Anyway as others have stated another excellent job.
Well Done indeed.

Cracking job looks really good.
My only observation is that the Additional Intake doors the two either side of the main intake would normally be closed ie flush if the aircraft is parked, if it had a pilot or ground crew in it it could potentially have its engines running while its parked which is the only time that these doors would be open they are designed to allow more air into the engine when the aircraft is not moving, once he is wizzing along the engine benefits from Ram air and these doors are not required so sit flush.
regards
Bill
PS now you can criticise my models lol
