Thanks guys, progress has been a bit slow due to other commitments but I've now finally got a rough shape I can work with. Next step is to cover this is resin, then car filler so it can be sanded to the correct profile. I've cut up some plastic card profile templates to check along the fuselage so both sides are the same..

Just the one photo as there isn't much to show at this stage, and a Zippo for size comparison.

23.6" long, 26.6" wide.. so a good chunk! Thanks Fumbles.
