Hi
I have a 1/72 scale Airfix Vulcan with wheels up that I would like to display with a plaque and blade from XH558,
I would like to find a stand like this one -

As like this would like the supporting rods to go into the rear jet outlets ?
Anyone have any ideas where I can buy just the stand or get one made ?
Thanks
Ian

Re: Stand for Airfix Vulcan
As a starting point: car copper brake pipes would appear to be abt the correct diameter and could easily be bent by hand around something circular to give the correct profile. There must be somewhere on line that sells the copper pipe without the end connections by the metre. They cld then be sprayed with an airbrush or rattle can.
For the stand I would suggest a woodworker with a router wld be able to create something pleasing to look at and it wouldn't take long using an off cut of hardwood. Have a look for local artisan cabinet makers/ joiners who do bespoke furniture.

As an alternative option, I have one for a tamiya 1/32 spitfire you are welcome to use if you cover the postage.
I can sort some photos out later if you wish.
If you want to go down the route of the photo I would suggest looking into clear acrylic rods. They will do the trick.
