Evening all,
Don't tend to post in here very often these days, but thought I'd share a selection of models I've built so far this year. I decided to focus my attention on Battle of Britain era kits, given the anniversary, and whilst I didn't get through as many as I'd have liked, I've acquired a nice little collection. Kicking things off was the Airfix Spitfire Ia. Went a touch overboard with the weathering, and those panel lines look horrendous in the photos, but it's a nice little kit overall. As with all these models, the scale is 1/72.
Tamiya's BF 109E-3 is a lovely little kit...
But not as nice as Eduard's BF 110C, an absolute beauty
Rounding off the quartet was the delightful new Airfix Defiant.
In between the Spitfire and 109, I knocked together the best kit of the lot, Eduard's sublime Hellcat. Finished in the markings of TFC's former aircraft.
Thanks for looking, hope they're of interest
Cheers,
Shaun
