Thought I'd share my progress of my Eurofighter, 80% of the paint job is done, still all the fine markings to go on but its getting there, hope to have flying by the end of May, will be powered by a Jetcat 180 rbi turbine. As I already have one flying Eurofighter Typhoon painted in RSAF colours really wanted something different, flying grey jets in this country is no fun, mates just done last years RAF display one so that was out of the question, so being a Typhoon I thought how fitting to do a Hawker Typhoon, the paint scheme was already in my mind when I saw Takamota's one on here last year, so that sort of sealed it for me, though mine does vary, different markings and plain grey underside. a lot of research has gone into the markings as i decided to have different markings either side.
Past year been working on all the internals to make removable plus working airbrake, currently waiting on dry rub decals to arrive then will have a clear coat applied

Would love to see the typhoon display team adopt a scheme like this.

Superb Lozza!
Out of interest I know it's big! But roughly what scale is it?

Approx 1/6th scale

Will you need to make any special adaptations to the control surfaces (e.g. make them proportionally larger etc?) due to the aerodynamic design of the Typhoon designed to be inherently unstable?

Not as far as I know, they tend to fly very well, D-day Typhoon is semi scale, my other Typhoon is very scale in its wing shape and fuselage, that flies superb, even though it scares the life out of me or should I say my wallet, Saudi Typhoon is a bit special as these never went into production and a far as I know I got the only flying one in the world, I know where one other is but thats still in kit form, I painted it in Saudi colours as I photographed the really one low level in Wales on a test flight when new.
