Childhood re-discovered

Post by expat1 »

After coming across some excellent tutorial videos made by ISM on You Tube. I decided to have a go at an old childhood interest.
$$$s were parted with for an airbrush, tools and oh yeah, a model !!
Tamiya's excellent F-16 Aggressor was the model of choice because I'd heard that it just falls together.
Those reports were correct !!

Wow! Looks like you have not lost the skill... I can only hope my NAS Fallon F-16 looks as good.

Thank you for the kind comments.
I cant overstate how helpful the 'How to' videos on ISM (International Scale Modeller) helped me. Loads of techniques and directions that I'd never have thought of.
I'm sure most of you are aware of the site, but if not, the Links are here;

That's a cracking build!
I have this kit in the stash also.

Great paint job - and nice subtle weathering touches too.

You clearly have a talent for this, the tonal variations in the paint especially the grey of the fuselage and wing tank are spot on ! :clap:
