Cheaper Diecast Models

Post by Cole »

Im looking to "fill a few shelves" with die-cast Planes but Some of the prices are ridiculous, i know you get what you pay for but im not looking for 1/1 crisp detail.
Can anyone recommend a Website to get decent models from?

Thanks in advance.

If you are looking for a specific, older model then ebay is probably best. Otherwise I tend to use jumblies or flying tigers. You can also get some real bargins at airshows. Hope this helps.

I use a variety of places such as Amazon and E-Bay, but also :-

And also visit the Barry Potter toyfairs held at Sandown Park Racecourse. Was there yesterday and got a 1:48th Armour Collection Dauntless for £50 which was a bargain :-)

Cheers :-)

Italeri did a nice range of 1/100 scale diecast planes, with pretty decent quality. You can pick them up for less than a fiver at airshows but tend to be a fair bit more online as they are reasonably rare now. Have a google of italeri 1/100 diecast aircraft and see if anything takes your fancy.
