These build have been languishing on the bench for some time:
1:48 Airfix Hawker Hurricane
1:72 Boulton Paul Defiant
1:72 Hobby Boss P-47
and, 1:72 Airfix Hawker Demon
Hopefully I will start moving these along.

Re: On The Bench
That's some baby step that tops my build rate for the last two years! My problem at present is actually finishing something before getting dispirited with it! 4th time lucky...!
I hear that Defiant is a superb kit how you finding it?

Craig - I would be as bold to say the last 5 years mate!
Good to see you posting stuff again Al,
just pick one to get back into the swing of things.

I like it a lot Craig. I notice there is a 1:48 Defiant now. Is that supposed to be as good a kit?

Thanks James and I agree mate, the Hurricane seems to be the one I am favouring at the moment.

Arabest,

Honest Geoff I will. These are all kits shelved because I lost interest, so just hoping to finish them one at a time.

It certainly seems well regarded. Some really good stuff coming out of Airfix lately just sadly very little for me, all wrong era or scale! I wish they'd scale up the forthcoming Phantom and their new tool Sea King.
