Hasegawa 1/48 Mitsubishi F-2A

Latest effort.
This is the Hasegawa Mitsubishi F-2A. Built in conjunction with Lockheed Martin and based on the F-16 but a bit bigger with a larger wing.

Nice kit with good fit and detail. I struggled with the colours but in the end went for Xtracrylix RAF Azure blue underneath and Hataka US Navy dark sea blue on top. If anything the underside is a bit light.

Beautifully done! The Japanese come up with some very attractive schemes, wish they'd bring more to RIAT.
