Riseley 27th September 2008

Post by Disaster Area »

There was a 'private event' at Sackville Lodge, Riseley on Saturday 27th September which saw numerous balloons being inflated and flown during the day.

Despite a very foggy start, the fog not clearing until around 11:30am several balloons were inflated and flown during the afternoon/evening, normal flying activities continued during the inflations/flying which allowed for some interesting backgrounds to some of my images!!

After spending much of the morning building it, they flew it in the afternoon!

Very nice clear, sharp pics  Some seem cropped a bit close in my opinion.

Nice Chris, as you say - interesting backgrounds! I actually like the close crops, they have bags of energy in them.

G-TOMZ (Kitfox?) shot is a smasher!

Thanks for the comments guys

MrAngry - not a case of cropping too close, that was how I intended the shot to come out, its a type of photography i enjoy, adds 'drama' to the image in my opinion.

Paul - thanks for your comment
