Complex Qualification

Complex Qualification

Postby Spock on Sat 14 Jul 2012, 5:50 pm

I have today Gained my Complex Qualification in N2136E. PA 28 Arrow T.
Complex Qualification for those of you not General Aviation Pilots is, Aircraft with Retractable Undercarriage & Variable Pitch Propellers.
Flew a cross country mini Skills test up to Tango Delta (Durham Tees) IMC for most of the trip at 6000 Feet then FL55 to Ottringham descending to 3500 half way back then back to Sandtoft for 3 Touch N Goes & a full stop landing.

After Lunch went flying with Gill & did another 30 mins a solo to finish off the day.

Pleased with myself.

Cheers Trev

Yup have been watching Bush Pilots, Great but bit sensationalised

Marks 190 hours in 3 years aint bad apparently, Too old for CPL at 50 so no chance of flying 737's, only on flight sim. LOL

Thanks Trev

Good stuff Trev.

I have enjoyed following your flying. Well done.

Don't forget to check for 3 greens before landing !!!!! I've seen a couple of light a/c land with the wheels up during my 32 years in ATC. Not funny !!

Fly safe.

Clint.

Well done Trev, was up for a flight in a PA-28 at Doncaster last week and I've now gotten the bug and intend to start training within the next few weeks myself...
