Great set
Good to see G-SPEY, still there. If I remember correctly, that was the "Treasure Hunt" comms Helicopter.

Thanks for the comment.

SPEY is rarely airborne these days; the other originals (G-HDTV, ONTV & OCMM) are all kept in an operating condition for reserve but none have flown for over a year

Hello from over in the States. Washington State to be exact. Seattle area. I was doing a search on the internet trying to find out what happened to one of our old helicopters. (well it was new way back when).

Agusta A109E S/N 11628 we had ordered brand new. One of our pilots transitioning to the newest airframe (out of worn out A109AIIs) made some mistakes and crashed the thing off a hospital roof. 197hrs TSN on the airframe at the time of the crash. There were rumors that someone was going to try and put the aircraft back together but by the looks of this thread it's been parted out. Which is what we figured it was good for as there wasn't much a straight piece of sheet metal on that fuselage.

Great pictures in here. I've been maintaining EMS Agusta A109s for just over 20 years now. It's still my favorite Helicopter.

Here she was brand new at the time of delivery with about 25 hours on it.

Here is it's sister which was ordered at the same time. 11632. It now has about 5700 hours on it. Still in operation.
