Dragonfly Formation North Weald

Post by TJJ »

The Shipping & Airlines Collection brought several of their aircraft to North Weald for the Air Britain Fly-in. The de Havilland Dragonfly and Chipmunk came in formation. They also went out on a couple more local sorties as a pair.

The Scottish Airways Dragon Rapide also came in from Duxford and we had a visit by the Miles Whitney Straight from Turweston as well.

Which day did you see the Dragonfly? I was there on Sunday 'till about 3:30ish. Can't believe I missed this classic aeroplane yet again!

I seem to be forever destined to miss the Dragonfly. I was there on Sunday, and caught the Messenger and Chipmunk. Some other nice classic types there, and I've just edited a few of my pictures into a separate post, to compliment yours.

Regards, Graham
