HABs in Luxor take 2.

Another selection of balloon shots from Luxor, Egypt - but this time from my second visit, taken in 2010. The first few are of the preparation and launch of the Lindstrand Balloon SU-289 which was my chariot of fire for this occasion followed by some air-to-air shots of others that departed at about the same time. Again, take off was just after dawn with a flight time of some 1hr 10 minutes.

And finally, a shot that clearly illustrates the demarcation between the fertile Nile Valley and the desert with the Ramesseum - the Mortuary Temple of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the middle distance and the temple of Medinet Habu (the tomb of Ramesses III) in the far distance...
