My solo cross country NavEx was a bit of a mixed bag as it was too turbulent to land, however it was absolutely beautiful being up at 4,000 in a flexwing with the snow covered Grampian hills for company, it wasn't so nice when I dropped down to 2,000 ft for the landing. Still that's another hour or so in the log book and it all counts.
Scone was busy yesterday, here's some pictures.
A friend flew his Emeraude over from East Fortune.

A visiting Husky was doing Differences Training yesterday. It's hard enough without having to cope with the sink on the approach to 27.

That's the beauty of GA, the aircraft are owned by real people and not registered to faceless corporations and banks. I hope you enjoyed this wee selection of piccies, I'll post some more onto my Flickr site over the coming days.
