Turweston Fly In, 14th September

Post by Gareth Horne »

Another very enjoyable trip down to Turweston, bikes, cars and aircraft in abundance for this VAC event, even some sunshine which made a change. Grass was just about dry enough to park aircraft on and the marshallers did a great job of allowing us photographers access whilst still keeping aircraft coming and going safely, if only other places were so enlightened!

Anyhow a dozen shots of the more aviation related subjects

Nice way to paint your motor..

Gareth, so glad you enjoyed your day. We do our best as marshallers to make it a nice and relaxed atmosphere

Very very good set of photos there, i agree it was an excellent day out and full marks to all at turweston for making it so, it has to be one of the best events of the year with all the vintage vehicles etc plus the aircraft as well, long may it continue, cheers for posting these and yes it was great to see the vulcan, Rob

Indeed we do Gareth, & thanks for the kind words.
We even try to sort them a bit as they arrive sometimes too.
Can't beat a nice stroll with the Kitten on the grass.
You can't beat a good bit of well crafted wood & fabric
