First Combat Aircraft Monthly! - October 2009

Post by Aviacom »

Evening all,

The first monthly edition of Combat Aircraft magazine hits the streets this week. It's a 100-page military aviation feast.
Our cover story is Eurofighter Typhoon - we have a huge rundown on the programme tied in with the signature of the Tranche 3A deal. If you want to read about what it all really means then Jon Lake delivers the ultimate answers.

We also have 29 pages of world military aviation news including special features on A400M and new Marine Corps recon aspirations.

Neil Pearson reports on the latest Maple Flag exercise.
Jon Lake looks at the future facing the RAF's No 51 Sqn, and what will replace its Nimrod R1s.
Ted Carlson joins US Marines Harrier on exercise at Red Beach.
We have Jan Jorgensen's stunning Norwegian P-3 photos.
An exclusive report from Kadena from Jim Haseltine.
US Army airpower 2009 by Tom Kaminski - the best overview of the Army air assets around!
Czech Gripens on patrol in the Baltics by Tieme Festner.
US Navy Fighter of the Fifties series looks at the F3H Skyknight.
And to top it all off we have an incredible feature on Macedonian Mi-24 'Hinds'.

Plus book and flight sim reviews.
Loads of photographs, great reproduction, opinions, reviews, and all that Combat Aircraft does best.

I hope those who buy it, enjoy it.
All the best for now
Jamie Hunter
