I don't have much knowledge of Culdrose shows but surely this is quite a coup for them?

When I was a kid it used to be held on the Wednesday of RIAT so used to get some real treats but hasn't been like that for many years.

I'd take everything with a pinch of salt until the day itself.

Are you sure thats an official Facebook page? Doesnt look like it is? You would have thought they would have links to the airshows website on there to start with...

The FB page I don't believe is official but gets info from official sources. Both aircraft have been announced on the RN website as well, so here's a better source http://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/our-organis ... r-day-2014

The appalling graphic should give you an indication it isn't the official page.

Has anyone phoned that number? Scam? :ninja:

For all the doubters on this forum I am one of the admins on said facebook page, any information as regards displaying aircraft updates etc is from a reliable source. Nothing is posted on the facebook page until confirmed. There are also links to the official RNAS Culdrose website on the page in posts, and no the phone number is not a scam either. Hope that clarifies a few questions raised in this thread.

Thanks. Taken a big hit with those cancellations. Especially sad about the Sea Vixen.

With regard to the weather for Culdrose Air Day tomorrow looks okay with sunny spells and patchy cloud whilst Thursday looks generally cloudy with a small chance of a shower or two.

It wouldn't be Culdrose Air day without concerns about the weather as anyone who has been regularly in the last twenty years will know. :lmao:

I can't make it this year but I hope everyone who does enjoys the day.

Well, I'd guess if you have only just got it you haven't programmed any frequencies yet, but this is what I'll be scanning through, hope it helps ;)

I've just seen on Facebook that you'll be getting a flypast from an F-15. You lucky people.
