Just got back, left as the tiffie was flying as I have to go to a party. was very surprised to go into the 'hunter' car park from the A303. Look about 30min from A303 to getting on the base. Great show, love the chinook and French role demo. Vulvan meh! To to the party with my 2 liter of suicider fresh from zummerset!

Does anyone know if the bird strike damage on one of the A10's nose was old or new?

Crew said that A-10 nose damage was from air to air refuelling when either they or the tanker got it a bit wrong- but as there is nothing of importance in the nose cone they don't bother doing anything until it really gets broke.

I never got round to buying the programme so can anyone tell me when the Mig-15 was due to fly? as there didn't seem to be any gaps in the show, everything moved along very well and ended right when I would have expected it too.

Also it was nice to see the Commando Assault numbers increased by one as they said only three Merlins would be taking part but pretty sure I counted four on Saturday

From memory, I think it was between the French role demo and the Typhoon. Certainly in that last block of participants after 4pm.

The Texan is down as flying in the back of the programme, but not in the list of scheduled participants oddly.

Does anyone know who won the awards at this years air day?

You're right - I was looking at the timings and it's not on there.
