Farmers fields at 09 end

Drove past the 09 end today and both of the fields [end of 09 and offset from 09 end have been ploughed. So no doubt in the next week or so will be manured

When I was last up for arrivals day 2 Years ago there was an incident when the Farmer wasn't too happy about his crops being picked by little fingers so I wonder if he's any more happier about people standing there any more..........

He does this every year, just to pee off the enthusiasts, the year he got upset was when folk were picking his potatoes,or tramping them into the ground.
but if the crops are in there should be no rush to put down manure/fertiliser yet

Used to work for said farmer many a moon ago and now do bussiness with one of his sons - there should not be any issue if the fields are only ploughed and if people are sensible and stick to the field margins whilst walking up to the mound or to the bottom of the papermill field if they have been sown by next weekend. If every body shows a little respect I am sure there will be no issue from Mr Black over the 3-4 days.

I was there one Monday a few years ago and was almost ploughed over the fence down onto the road. Not a happy chappy Mr Farmer! Hard to blame him when there were folk tramping over his fields to go and pee against the bushes on the western edge.

Why Leuchars never had a proper enthusiasts area I'll never know. Wouldn't have cost that much would it?
