F**k me, is climbing a ladder illegal now?

This rung is OK, but that rung is naughty? How about a set of steps? Is there a naughty step?

Well, I just got back from the Friday arrivals and I'll be honest it was rather disappointing, not least because the weather was so good for a change!

Stuck in traffic coming up the A15 (I now read it was due to late opening) and then to find the hedge is massive and threatened with arrest for touching it!

Surely if if the MOD can't afford the upkeep of the hedge then as part of David Camoron's 'Big Society' I should be applauded for doing my bit to keep it looking neat?

Stayed for the T-Birds practice display... some of it was good but one landed early (?) and then the remainign five appeared to keep practicing the crossover manouevre. Four then landed and 1 appeared to be flying around aimlessly as if he was searching for something that might have fallen off his aircraft?!?!

Back again tomorrow morning for the first proper day... let's hope it gets better!

Thunderbirds were poor. Lacked variety and the wow factor. Although the "ITS SHOWWW TIMEEEEEEE" down the radio did make me chuckle

Well, just got back from arrivals and Waddo's loused out with puddle jumpers, if you like sitting at Sturgate or Gamston and the likes you will be in hogs heaven.
I can say the flying display will make up for it though.

Did anyone notice on the Thunderbirds display after the 4 ship split up to cross the crowd line and set up for the crossover for the 1st time(they attempted it 3 times lol) that the 1 that was coming from behind the crowd line pulled up out the manouvre and landed straight away?

My friend I was with (although not a plane expert) said he noticed as the jet which eventually pulled up and landed early passed over the Park & View area that it seemed to be side slipping a lot and he thought at a quick glance 1 of the double fins on the bottom of the f-16 at the back seemed to look like it was missing

The worst arrivals day I've ever been to. Rubbish getting in, a sparse number of arrivals and those that did arrive came in at the wrong end away from the paying public. Were the winds that vicious? Don't think so. As an exercise in peeing people off the last two days has been a triumph.....

Worst Waddo arrivals ever. Pathetic and truly dangerous organisation in not getting the gates open, participation could be written on the back of a corn flakes packet, and to really put the boot in, the 02 end when the wind was not that bad. A bloody Harvard made a direct landing into 20 during the afternoon!

I echo the same. Worst Friday arrivals to date both in what was arriving and how the whole day went. I was so annoyed i had to leave after the Thunderbirds. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Just gonna go in early and park up on the crowd line as near to the center as poss and chill.

At the end of the day tomorrow will still be good. Great weather and still some great displays - Reds, Vulcan, BBMF, Jordanian Falcons, F-16 and ofcourse the tornado role demo. Station Flypast will be a great sight too with the Rivet Joint. Chins up boys and girls

OTT policing, occasionally heavy handed  Absolute farce with the hedge! Not quite sure all those tools people were taking to hack the hedge down was a good idea though

Bush Violation, never a good thing. :dizzy:

Looking forward to this show, mainly to see the Nimrods on static, the last Airshow we will see the Nimrod at. :(

Haven't been to Waddington since 2006. Hoping for good weather.

I am trying not to look at the arrivals photos threads, so it is more of a surprise (like the old days) when I go in
