How high/bad is the hedge on the A15 opposite the WAVE?

You could always buy a ticket and then the hedge would not be a problem, winds me up people standing outside. You are taking money away from the airshow, the operators who display for you and the good causes the shows supports.

Stiill if you get that all important topside shot or a free day out why worry about the above :claypole:

Or it could be that there are people who pay to go in on the arrivals and walk outside for the better light...like many have done for years...?

Thanks for that I have tickets for the show days for your information I am planning going outside on the departures day after parking up in the PAVE and going the other side for a few snaps.
I asked a simple question not your opinion.

Sorry for the over reaction no offence was intended, I accept I had no idea if you were paying or not and should not have ranted at you when I had no idea what your intentions were.

Excellent. My God we may be headed for a very civilised airshow/arrivals rather than the complete and utter farce of last year..

What's the best plan of attack for arrivals day? It's my first time and have no idea of procedure

Does that mean my '3 step' ladder will be sufficient this year?

Previous years people have posted pictures of the hedge. Has anyone got a photo taken during the last few weeks.

Thanks

Kenny you make it too easy!

1. Park up
2. See aircraft!
3. Photograph aircraft.
4. Put down camera.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 and 4 until bored.
6. Depart for home!

No photo but 3 step won't be enough IMHO unless you "flatten" the couple of branches poking a bit higher than the rest depending on how tall you are i guess. Your looking at a couple of inches above the fence which i think is about the same as pre 2011.

FYI i'm 5,11 and will be taking my 5 step.

3 step definitely won't be enough. Drove past today. Now a good foot high above the fence :(
