Flying Proms

Hi all,

Have just bought tickets for the flying proms event. Something i've never been to before - but thought i'd try.

Can anyone give me any advice on when is best to arrive and where is best to view from (i'm more interested in the aircraft than the music).

Last year if my memory is correct , they had the bands playing on a stage between the control tower and bar / food area
For the flying the best spot is still in my opinion on the bend in the crowd line about 50m to the right of the control tower , if they have a lovely sunny evening the light is fantastic
