Spitfires now confirmed as Mk.I N3200, Mk.Vb BM597 and Mk.IX MH434. Decent, especially if they're all landing.
Tickets for this event are pricey though. Anyone ever been before?

Yes been a volunteer for many years, this year attending as paid public which may give you an idea as to how good it is. Aircraft are normally pushed out for fuelling after lunch and large numbers of classic aircraft fly in, some from the moth rally at Woburn, and sometimes practice displays during the afternoon. The main car park is used for seating (bring your own or rent) and the stage is at the base of the tower so the aircraft can fly behind. During the interval we put the aircraft away and the music continues to finish with fireworks and the collection's searchlight. Lots of people come in full evening dress, table cloths and candleabras are fairly common too. I'm sure this was the original 'modern' proms when we did the hawker proms in about 1998? and others have followed suit, absolutley amazing to see the aircraft with the full orchestra, give it a go you won't be disappointed.

Storch and B2 have been up several times, dragon rapide has just flown and all three spitfires are on the ground with the based aircraft looks to be a good attendance, probably about 2500 people saying yes please.
