I understood that you right was to "pass and re-pass" but not to loiter or congregate?

No. It has been established in the courts that the right is to use the footpaths for any reasonable leisure purpose. That includes picnics, birdwatching, plane-spotting and even walking. What you must not do is obstruct them in the course of undertaking your hobby, so if someone is coming through, move your tripod/stepladder/row of chairs chained together.

Considering I'm only interested in seeing the Vulcan today. Probably best to get the train to Biggleswade, go for a country stroll in the direction of the airfield for a couple of hours and then pop back.

Can't see any issues with that?

That's a long country stroll with the added hazard of crossing the A1 at the roundabout.

Nearly at Shuttleworth after leaving Bristol at 8am this morning. Weather looking good too so here's hoping for an amazing close to the 2015 season!

It's gonna be a great day, but also a sad one. Hope everyone who's attending enjoys the day!

Stunning display from XH558... Lots of power, lots of noise...

Car alarms going off by the dozen...

Lots of flies in eyes amongst the crowd...

It has been a wonderful day, unfortunately there has been an incident requiring an ambulance and the police.
Hope everyone is OK.
