Collection Aircraft:

The Skyraider in particular is a good start - This event seriously has huge potential!

This is the show I'm potentially most excited for next year..!

Think of the possibilities... Seafire III, Hunter GA11 from St Athan, potentially both RNHF Swordfish together, Royal Navy Blackcats, TFC Corsair, etc etc...

TFC's Wildcat, perhaps? Or the RN Wasp pencilled for Abbo next year? Or Duxford's Nimrod?

Certainly an event to keep an eye on!

If they can afford the Vulcan twice, Foxy once should be doable!

They could book the Vulcan in the certain knowledge that it would result in the event becoming a "sellout"; that is very unlikely to be the case should they book the Sea Vixen.....

And we still don't know what effect (if any) the Shoreham incident will have on next year's jet displays (or insurance premiums).
nothing is confirmed at a show until its u/c hits the tarmac or it is running in for its display.....

Given the Sea Vixens only recent appearances have been on the south coast or Jersey i would imagine at least a bumper crowd at OW for this event, if its booked i'll be there for it and thats a 600 mile round trip for me :-)

But that came from the unofficial Facebook page, not the Fly Navy Heritage Trust!

The web page for this show, and participants is still looking pretty thin, with just over two months left I thought the show list might have more confirmed participants or am I premature. Anyone have any idea on when the full list will be available?

Looking back to the equivalent show last year, the list was published on April 2nd so plenty of time yet.

You are premature. Until this year Shuttleworth lists never began to be publicised so early, and it's great that we are seeing them publicise things a lot earlier now. It also isn't 2 months until this show, it is over 3.

Don't forget in addition to what is already listed on the website, elsewhere the Sea Vixen and Scout have been listed to attend, although we await confirmation from Shuttleworth themselves.

Thanks for the info.
I had noticed the Sea Vixen and Scout mentioned but waiting for official confirmation. The Sea Vixen was the icing on the cake for me at Yeovilton last year. It would be something at OW.
 Yes got the two months in my head as I booked the 8th of May show, then looked at the 5th of June and decide the hold on before committing to that show.

Shuttleworth delivered for me at each of the shows we went to last Summer. Looking forward to 8th of May and the season starter there.

Fantastic additions. Checking the website however, the Sea Vixen is a glaring omission from the list.... Was it ever on there? It's been confirmed by both the FNHT and Old Warden Facebook pages....

Great to see such a strong list focused around a very clear theme! Shame there's no modern Royal Navy participation so far though. The RN Blackcat's calendar has them unable that weekend however a Wildcat HM2 or Lynx HMA8 solo display wouldn't go amiss I feel...
