Well it was its last year on the circuit in RAF hands in 1992. An album of shots from a very sunny year. sadly I don't seem to have any pictures from Finningley - possibly due to the rubbish weather that weekend and possibly due to me watching what I thought was the last time I'd see her fly, to take in the ambience of the occasion, FAREWELL in the bomb bay doors and all.
Firstly one from Brawdy 1991, only time I saw her deploy the chute
Mildenhall Air Fete 1992
Boscombe Down ATI 1992, what a backdrop!
A flyby at Lyneham Families Day 1992 could even steal the show
Next day, Cosford Open Day 1992
Arriving for Yeovilton International Airshow 1992
Upper Heyford Open House 1992
Finally arriving at St Mawgan for the International Air Day 1992, the following day the base was shrouded in low level clag. The Vulcan unusually did a fighter style break on take off, its following 360 degess turn, had one wing in the cloud and one wing out. Incredible flying.
Hope you like the trip down memory lane
