Never been very happy with the slide/neg scanners I have used in the past; these slides were copied using a macro copying stand set-up using an EOS 1DsMkIII, Canon 100mm F2.8 macro (f8 used) and 25mm extension tube with two flashes illuminating a white reflector behind the slides, it took a while to align it all, but I'm quite happy with these, took a while to get the dust off with the healing brush, despite meticulous cleaning of the slides prior to copying.
A couple (edit; now 3) of shots of an F111F arriving at Lakenheath, taken about February 1989

Very nice, Nigel. The copying method has worked out very well.

Very nice indeed, especially the F-111s and RAF F-4s. That SR71 looks close to the grass!

They have come out really well! Wouldn't mind seeing a photo of your set-up.
