N52JU Iron Annie "Going Home" Prestwick

Post by eng3 »

Hi, came across this one yesterday, the slides are dated Jan.'85 and I still remember the freezing cold as we waited on it coming out. Registered JU52N (corrected to N52JU), it had night stopped at Prestwick on its flight from the States to Germany. Any ideas where it eventually ended up?

N52JU taxying out for runway 13 take off.

Thanks for looking.

Interesting shots! This is the aircraft that is now airworthy with Lufthansa as D-CDLH.

Interesting shots but I'm quite sure 'JU52N' can't be a real registration so it should be N52JU I guess?
