When and Where was I?

Its that time again I pose a question, over the coming days I'll post a photo I took, can you tell me when and where I took the pictures.
To make it interesting I have two adult tickets for Fairford to gift to the first person to correctly identify both questions, one nomination per post please, the tickets are for either the Friday or the Sunday the choice is yours. I will only respond to the post which correctly answers both questions.

You were at Hurn in 1977. You haven't said where the tickets are for, is it a slave dungeon in the west end of London?

Are you asking because you don't actually remember? :dizzy:

We can deduce the earliest the second picture could be is August 1973 because of the L-reg VW Bus.

You do realise my guesses have included Heathrow in 1924 as well :grin: Plus so far we have two of the most regular airshow aircraft of the 1970s and 1980s featured plus some trees, a terrible caravan and a Ford Cortina Estate at a place I've probably never been to and that would include Greenham :dizzy:

Gotta love those guys in the second shot in the naughty field, especially the one just right of the Hurri - how dodgy does he look?! :heyhey:

And why bother with a naughty field when the crowdline is...erm...quite close anyway :joystick:

Purely because you said 'close...' in your first reply, I will stick with Hurn and go for 1975.

Also, who holds an airshow when it's that cold (see the Policemen's longcoats and the attire of everyone else, including Mr Dodge!)?

Changed my mind, have done a bit of internet research and I reckon it is Biggin Hill based on other shots I can find of the same Sea Fury. Let's try 1975.

We have a winner!!
Its Biggin Hill 1975. The day the B17 was being delivered from France via Biggin Hill to Duxford I believe.
